Conference Fee & Registration

** FEES FOR UiTM STAFF (NORMAL REGISTRATION FACE TO FACE) RM1500

IMPORTANT:

  • IEEE members are required to indicate and update their IEEE membership number in their EDAS profile before they start the registration process. IEEE members are also required to provide their current IEEE membership card for verification during registration process.

  • For STUDENT Type registration, a Valid Student I.D. will be requested during registration process.

  • Each registration covers one (1) paper with a limit of 6 pages per paper. Each additional page will incur an additional fee of USD40 per page.

  • All credit card payments are to be made in United States Dollar (USD) either by Visa/Master Card. This could be done using your EDAS account.

- a Softcopy of ICPEA 2023 proceeding

- Publication in IEEE Xplore digital library*


Face to Face Registration will cover :

- Access to All Technical Sessions

TERMS & CONDITION

i) CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES

  • In order to participate in the activities of ICPEA 2023, at least one author of each paper must register for the conference.

  • Each registration covers one (1) paper with a limit of 6 pages per paper. Each additional page will incur an additional fee of USD40 per page.

  • Payments of conference registration fees must be made by 31st January 2023, otherwise your paper will not be included in the proceedings.

ii) IEEE MEMBERS REGISTRATION

IEEE members will receive a discount on the ICPEA 2023 registration fee. Members are required to indicate their IEEE membership number during registration (please update your EDAS profile) and to bring along their current IEEE membership card for verification at the conference.

iii) STUDENT RATES

  • Participants are eligible for student rate if he/she is a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student.

  • Students must email the scanned copy of their ‘Student Identification Card’ to icpea@uitm.edu.my.

  • Participants must bring along their Student Identification Card and/or IEEE Membership Card to the conference for verification.

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES

  • For International participants, registration fees are payable in United States Dollars (USD) using credit cards via the EDAS ICPEA 2023 registration website at https://edas.info/registerPerson.php?c=29950

  • For Malaysian participants, payments in Ringgit Malaysia can also be made via wire transfer or interbank giro (IBG)/instant transfer or deposit of cheque/bank draft payable to the following:

All bank charges are to be borne by the participant and notification with proof of payment made in Ringgit Malaysia as described above is to be emailed to the ICPEA 2023 Finance Chair (icpea@uitm.edu.my). Failure to do so may result in delay in confirmation of registration. Payments made are NOT refundable.

NO-SHOW AND ORIGINALITY POLICY

Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on “NO-SHOW”. The IEEE has implemented policies to exclude authors who do not present their paper from further distribution of their publication, such as exclusion from IEEE Xplore. Therefore, one of the authors or their representatives MUST present the paper at the event.

Papers that have >30% similarity index will be rejected

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Any cancellation made within 30 days (5th February 2023) from the conference date will be subjected to a 50% cancellation charge. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty. No refund can be made after 20th February 2023. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.
